Why not cottage – Mouse Simulator : Family Review

Hewo, this is a really fun game but why can I only get a mate from the forest? I live in the cottage not the forest? I will keep playing and see if I can but if not PLEASE make me able to find a mate in the cottage! Thank you! ?
