Wonderful app for serious - and other - photographers – PhotoMeta Review

This app gives comprehensive shooting data for photos you've put on an iPad, in a very appealing format. The Basic data accurately identifies camera model and lens model and date/time, among other things. Detailed data is exhaustive info on camera settings and other meta data. This info is extremely useful. Note: a prior version of this app could not access some of this data for photos put on the iPad via iTunes, because the data was not present: iTunes removed part of the metadata during the synch. I have not yet checked whether current versions of iTunes have fixed this problem. But for photos you have put on the iPad directly (I use Apple camera connection kit), this app is splendid, even for RAW files from very new cameras.
