VERY good! I set this up (iPad) in my backyard and walked at least 500 feet away and it was still very bright. As a safety device, this is the best by far. Try the police 2 setting, if that doesn't get attention, nothing will. Easy 5 star AND free. Absolutely get this. Even if you only need it once, it might save your bacon.
