Not compatible with newer webcams during a pandemic – Zoom Workplace Review

I needed a webcam for zoom meetings for college classes. I have the Logitech C922 pro stream webcam. It doesn’t connect to the camera via selecting Logi capture or the webcam itself. I uninstalled and reinstalled both programs, doesn’t connect. After some research for the answer online it turns out there’s a lot of webcams that zoom doesn’t support. So you have to buy a webcam through zoom to be sure?? Ridiculous. Discord has no time limits and works great with my webcam. I wish my school used that instead. How does a huge company like zoom not work with so many webcams? It’s not like there hasn’t been time to make this work
