abandon ware – Calibre Companion Review

Update 2-2021, developers have disappeared. No updates or communication in months, last post by them was 5 months ago. Used to be a nice little app for users of Calibre. Now it's useless. Wow, look at all the fake reviews! 20 5 star left on the same day! The latest update removed all of my books from my iPad Pro. Over 2k books. Please explain what the new subscription model is going to be. Adding, charging $.99 per month, even for users who paid $10 for this app is outrageous. Developer knew the update was broken, and blames release on his team. He said he "didn't think it was a big deal." Huge no confidence vote here. Resent all my books to the CC app, but SEARCH no longer works. Totally broken and worthless now. Editing to add...the subscription price will double on 9-1-2020. Added benefits most users don't use, will be uninstalling this app. It's not worth $25 per year.
