Fun, but frustrating – Golf Clash Review

From golf balls being completely submerged in water and the game calling it a “bunker”, to the countless times you have a match with someone that clearly spends a lot of $$$, you’ll be fighting this uphill battle unless you have extra money laying around for this game. I have almost 3k games played and have made a total of around 75 million coins, every person I come across that has the same amount of games played is at about 500 million coins plus, why you ask? PAY TO PLAY. Better clubs, balls, everything you need to win can be achieved by opening up your wallet. Let’s talk about the gameplay, visuals are amazing, the emotes and everything going are fun and customizable, but let me break it down like this. Just played a game where my opponent had a water hazard first shot, I went on to hit a pretty good shot but went into the rough, my next shot was perfect and almost made the one after that but guess who came back to win? The pay to play player who just lost an entire turn! Because he had the paid-for balls and obviously spent a lot of money to get his club levels up. There’s other games where I’ll hit all my shots perfect, and my opponent will start off in the bunker or rough, and somehow comes back to win? The rough irons are WAY too powerful, you can hit the ball out of the rough like you were using a wood on the fairway, absolutely ridiculous and unfair. ALSO, what’s with the season pass rewards? I complete every challenge for points, unlock chests everytime they’re ready, and I still can’t reach the max level rewards?? Do you really want us players to spend an extra 10 bucks to make it one more level? Really stupid that a player as myself can’t reach the max reward without once again paying for more points. STUPID SCAM
