Stranded – Turo — Car rental marketplace Review

Yes you can have a positive rental experience but the quality of service is measured in how they handle problems: 1. Called customer care 3x before I got someone on the phone. 2. Two hours of standing outside next to the car only to have them cancel on me after the rental start time and waiting. 3. Left with no car and Turo keeping the rental fee for the next 11 days. (Do any rental companies charge up front and then keep the money when they cancel on you). Great concept, poor execution and no protection from being scammed.
