Awesome game, good job Developers! – Geometry Dash Lite Review

This is likely going to be just another overlooked review, but if you happen to find yourself reading it, thanks! It’s long, but it should help you choose whether or not to download the app. I gotta say, this is one of my favorite games in the world (the other being Minecraft). The objective is to get your character to the end of the level by jumping over and avoiding obstacles. I’m sure you’re familiar with the “no internet” game that pops up on Google when you have no cell service. Geometry Dash has the same idea, except it has music, different obstacles (there are no cacti, sorry), and color. I was reading the bad reviews, and honestly, I think that these reviews are wayyyy overdramatic. I’ve listed the complaints I’ve seen here (they are the first sentence), as well as their counter arguments. (Yes, I know, my review is long, but bear with me). -It’s so hard. Well duh, it was designed that way. It’s supposed to be challenging. That’s the whole point! If you have a problem with “how hard” it is, this might not be the game for you. -There are too many ads. Did you know that the reason the ads are on that game is so YOU don’t have to pay for it? Yep. The ads keep it free. The awesome people at RobTop get paid for the ads, and you don’t have to pay for the app. They don’t even show up too much. The longer you play on a level, the less ads there are. -It makes me jump even though I didn’t touch anything! Yeah, that’s not intended. All games have bugs, and this is one of them. It doesn’t happen too often, but it can be annoying. All of a sudden, you’ll start repeatedly jumping without stopping, and when you pause the game and play it again, you can’t jump! Don’t worry, just exit the level and get back on, and it should work again. I’m sure it will be fixed soon. -This game is rigged! Okay, that’s simply not true. It may be a problem specifically with your device, like maybe you have no storage left or something, but the levels are beatable (though hard). I know this as I have made it to Clutterfunk! Go me! That’s really the main complaints I see. I do not suggest it for people with medical problems relating to strobe light because every once in a while it will flash. Other than that, I suggest it for everyone, of all ages! The game is well made and fun, with just the right amount of challenge. Continue with the good work, devs! I’m proud of you!
