Not worth it! – CyberGhost VPN: Safe WiFi Review

I paid for the three year access plan. $99 for three years sounds like a great deal, doesn’t it? Please, don’t waste your money. The first year was alright. Quite often we’d have to change cities because the streaming platform I was using at the time “caught on” to us using a vpn. Then right around the holidays and the one-year anniversary of our purchase of cyber ghost, it became nearly impossible to use. After waiting to see if perhaps it had something to do with the holidays, I decided to use the live chat to see what we could do. My chat expert was zero help. After asking me all the questions I suppose they are required (did you do this? -yes. Did you do that? -yes. How about A, B, or C? Yes. Yes. Yes.) I was then asked to take a picture of my tv screen showing the failure to launch message AND that I was logged in to cyberghost optimized for the particular streaming network. I don’t know about other TVs, but ours doesn’t show on the screen that the vpn is connected while I’m on something like Netflix or Hulu. At that point it seemed obvious that I was going to get nowhere with this kid (because it started to feel like I was chatting with a know-it-all teenager) so I disconnected from chat and purchased a different vpn service and this new service is already a thousand times better! The cost is a bit higher but we got less than a third of what cyber ghost promised. My suggestion is to talk to people you know who use a vpn service. That’s we we ended up doing and we have found one that we are very pleased with. I won’t mention the name but, IT ISN’T WEAK.
