Keeps logging me out – textPlus: Text Message + Call Review

I paid for no ads and to keep my number for a year, just because it was immediately cheap and this isn’t my primary number anyway. I won’t be calling too much off this app so as far as bugs I haven’t experienced too many except for when I’m not on the app it logs me out and I have to relogin, and sometimes it doesn’t let me login and gives me error messages. I wonder if it’s because of the thumbprint to login or if it’s because I use a VPN. I’d like to keep using this app as long as there’s bug fixes and progress within the future months to come.
