Speeds up and slows down – Tempo Advance - Metronome Review

So, I'm not totally convinced that I'm having this issue because of my phone, as this app has done this before on a separate phone, but there seems to be a problem where the tempo doesn't always stay steady. It's noticeable during practice sessions where the tempo will seem to fluctuate slightly, in that it slows down by just a small margin and catches back up after a few beats. I used to think this might be an issue if there are multiple apps open that tax my phones processing power, but it seems to do it no matter what. I have other tempo apps that I use regularly that don't do this, but this app does. It used to be fine, so I believe there was a past update that came with a bug that needs to be addressed.
