Great but one big problem – Deezer: Music Player, Podcast Review

Only hifi streaming app to have a decent 5 band eq already sets deezer apart from apps like tidal. However, deezer will often not play when/while i lock my phone. Reinstalled twice, still happens. All i do is open/close the app and it works again, but starts the song over which is doubly annoying. But if this were fixed I’d be continuing to use deezer. Love the aesthetics, how there are new background colors all the time per different artists/albums. CD quality on deezer is indistiguishable from tidal master. I tested with Hifiman Sundara with billie eilish songs. Maybe a very very subtle difference. I have good hearing, 25 yrs old. Has a nice and large selection of artists. Tidal seems to have a bit more of what i listen to. However deezer has some stuff tidal doesnt have. Spotify has everything. Youtube too. Until spotify goes hifi, deezer seems to be the app to get. If tidal had an eq, it’d be tough. I hope you dont have the software issue i have. Seems pretty rare and you’d find out during free trial. Would love a parametric eq option come on how hard could it be, these companies are giants.
