Drops WiFi when locked – KeepSolid VPN Unlimited Review

I’m having this weird issue where as soon as my phone locks and the screen turns off it disconnects from WiFi and goes to 5G/lte. When the screen is on then it works just fine but as soon as I put my phone down it drops WiFi within 30 seconds. It only does this when using the VPN. I’ve tried different protocols but to no avail. It works perfect on my other android devices but not my iPhone.
