Apple TV experience – Bleacher Report Live Review

Needs major improvements. CC options in app ignore all Apple TV settings, impossible to turn CC on or off outside of viewing a stream/video and the option is not able to be toggled without scrubbing through the video due to the need to use swipe up gesture to reach button. Touching the remote’s touchpad (including iOS remote on iPhones and iPads) at all will result in a small or very large jump forward or backwards in video. Apple TV swipe down menu deactivated while using this app so sound options are unavailable while watching. The pausing experience shouldn’t be a thought but if you watch and pause the process the of watching again without UI covering the screen you’ll need to hit pause again to change the play status of the button to allow the UI to fade.(Remember using the touch pad for pausing is unavailable because we’ll get that sweet random fast forward/rewind) Sometimes this doesn’t work and requires a force close and restart or 3. Siri is a mixed bag some commands work without Siri responding in app while others are outright ignored, but will always pause playback. The app functions but using it is a minor headache at times.
