WARNING - Latest update locks up when a,arm should go off – Alarm Clock HD Review

I’ve been using the premium version of this app for several years and have relied on it religiously and been very happy. The last 3 mornings after the new year, my alarm has failed to go off and the time locks when the alarm should have gone off. I’ve tried a hard reset of my iPad and made sure everything was up to date, but it still failed. I then deleted the app and reinstalled it and now it wants to charge me a monthly fee for premium. I paid a one time fee several years ago for premium and am trying to figure out what a monthly fee gets me? Twitter feed? Who reads Twitter while they are sleeping. Looks like it’s time to find a new app. Sincerely, A lost customer
