Doesn’t integrate with iOS, what’s the point? – Boom: Bass Booster & Equalizer Review

This app markets its core value proposition as a global (system-wide) EQ, and it sounds GREAT! However, the app does NOT even allow balancing of iTunes music at all, and any adjustments that are allowed, like through drop box or some other antiquated storage medium, forces you to use the app as your new player to apply the EQ settings to the song. So, you can’t EQ your Apple Music, and any downloaded music that you CAN EQ, has to be played through this app, and it’s own player, which froze within my first 3 minutes of use on a completely up to date, brand new device. Glad I realized it before being billed. Maybe the best consumer protection, and worst business plan for this developer, is to offer a free trial prior to purchase! Find something else.
