Layout seems wonky, but the quality is good! – Lovestruck Choose Your Romance Review

I love the diversity among the love interests in this game and the variety of stories - it would be cool if we could customize our main characters sometimes, but I get that it’s probably that way to keep the special art scenes in the game consistent (which are beautiful, btw. The art in this game is so pretty, each one has a lot of care and effort put into it) However, not having one cohesive storyline and having it split drastically depending on your love interest is a personal turn off - I enjoy games like user-made stories on Episode and books from Choices where it’s one storyline where it can kind of branch depending on your decisions but ultimately is consistent. Again, I get why it’s this way though. Despite that personal preference, everything I’ve read is really well written. Overall great quality, but the setup of the entire home screen overwhelms me, I really don’t like looking at it. It’s not really organized well, there’s a bunch of rows of stories and recommended love interests everywhere and it honestly really isn’t that aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion. I think that having it all set up vertically also contributes to my issue, but yeah. I wish there was a better format, but otherwise it’s a good game and I really do recommend it!
