Not working – EZCast Review

I purchased the lightning digital AV adapter on Amazon. Hooked it up and was prompted with a QR code on my TV screen. Scanned the QR code. Download the app. I still can’t get rid of the QR code. Nothings happening. How do I get rid of the QR code on my TV screen?
