Does not sync between iPad Pro and IPhone – Awesome Calendar Lite Review

I’ve been using this calendar for years and depend on it. Lately it does not sync between my ios devices, a serious flaw. I have followed directions and made sure they were both clicked to ‘on’ in iCloud. How can this be fixed?
