Some improvement can be made – Covet Fashion: Dress Up Game Review

It’s a fun game if you like fashion/putting looks together, competition, community, and reward systems. However. It’s relatively difficult to earn money and gems and since everything is relatively expensive, it’s hard to keep what you’ve earned. Most competitions require at least one specific item and if you don’t have it and can’t borrow from a friend, then you’re screwed and either have to wait until you can borrow an item or wait until you have enough money and or gems to buy what you need. I understand wanting to keep the game paced, so having this type of restriction isn’t villainous, but I feel that it’s still too, well, restrictive. Maybe add a feature to turn tickets into money or gems? Players are supposed to vote so why not cash in a little more on the process, why not make it more rewarding? And on an organizational note, why not add a liked items section/option when putting outfits together? Personally, I used the liking feature to mark items I want to save up for/keep in mind for future outfits. I think it would be beneficial if I could directly view those items when doing challenges. Regardless of wanting easier/more ways to make money/gems and wishing that I could view liked items while putting together outfits, I think the game is really fun and addictive and overall pretty well done. I’m thinking more like 3.5/5 stars, but I’ll be generous and go with 4/5 ;)
