Originally could’ve been a 5 star game but follow through is weak – Idle Frontier: Western Tapper Review

Just got game this morning. Rated it an instant five star! Thought the potential was crazy, it had depth, wasn’t “just a clicker”. Even paid for the VIP subscription and was perfectly fine with the cost as it said it included all other programs, offers, and features. Newsflash. It doesn’t include premium which functions like a battle pass giving you an additional reward each day. I gave it half the day hoping it would upgrade. No, I’m not comfortable subscribing to your game at a monthly rate to then be hounded and encouraged to sign up for ANOTHER subscription when the first read as it included EVERYTHING. For 8 bucks a month for a mobile clicker, it should. I’m also just to level 6, snd it’s horrendously slow! Even though I’ve been on all day, haven’t rushed through bases like reviewers stated, I’m empty on pie. Which is 181,000% REQUIRED to advance your towns if you want automated shops. What kind of “depth” is that, to lock someone down to a particular amount of progress unless they pay for even more services....there isn’t a great way to earn pie in any timely manner. Especially not at the 1000 pie I need for ONE manager level, let alone the whole town’s. Let alone to do it AGAIN for the next town....I grew up as a kid playing your games on my computer and I’ve tried two of your games now and your deceitfulness and money grabbing pay to win games are not built for sustained fun. Really not sure how your Apple score is so high as all I see are negative reviews. But I can certainly understand each of them. You’ve lost another customer. One with deep pockets that could’ve been a good source of income if game was made to be enjoyed, not bought.
