DON’T USE SEATGEEK – SeatGeek - Buy Event Tickets Review

SeatGeek is that company who pays thousands of dollars to have celebrities/ social media influencers promote their company just to scam you in the process. I watch several different youtubers sponsored by SeatGeek (unfortunately, the advertising works)and when I saw a concert I wanted to attend it was the first app I went to. I bought two BTS tickets back in JANUARY of 2020 (for a concert that was supposed to happen in MARCH) and because of COVID-19, it is to be rescheduled. It is now October 2020 and its date is still to be determined.Issue is I have no guarantee this event is ever to happen and because this is a pandemic, financially, the situation is worse. I am a full time college student, full time worker, and money does not grow on trees. I lost $700+ for using this app. I contacted SeatGeek about 3 times now (and counting ;)...) and they say they will not refund the money but I can try selling my two tickets. Yeah, someone will definitely buy two concert tickets DURING A PANDEMIC with no certainty if it’ll happen or not. Great idea, SeatGeek! Yes, I read the Terms and Conditions where it says that you will not be refunded unless the event is canceled completely. You would think during a time like this, a pandemic to be specific, they would refund you. I could have used that money for many other urgent necessities right now. But no SeatGeek wants to hog my unused money. Do yourself a favor. Go use another ticket app. You’re welcome for the warning.
