Connection work around – VIZIO Mobile Review

I’m leaving this for fellow frustrated Vizio owners not you developers. I’ve left several reviews like others have totally frustrated with this apps connectivity issues. I stumbled on this fix, fyi I’m on an iPhone X with iOS 13.6.1: If I slide up from bottom and go into app switcher then bring the app forward again without dismissing it (don’t flick it away and reopen) it connects. Every single time hasn’t failed once. Good luck! ??? Looks like iOS 14.1 broke the app...again. All I get is “connection failure”. Please update! I go back and forth between music, TV, Gaming so being able to control details in audio settings for my Vizio $1k sound bar is a daily use need. I can never have a long period of confidence and reliability with this app. Never! Always one thing or another!
