Rules to advance not explained properly – Unscramble Anagram - Twist, Jumble and Unscramble Words from Text Review

I have gotten up to two stars an expert level, and I still really don’t understand what the rules are. The app description is vague and cryptic. Please explain properly how rounds advance and how it resets. Please add detailed explanation of how the game works in the app itself as a separate button. I play half an hour every day, without being clear on the rules. My wife also could not explain how additional stars are won. Sad.
