What is happening? – Backgammon Classic Board Live Review

The rolls don’t seem random. The AI doesn’t just get a good roll every now and then, it will get a series of perfect rolls. It also seems like that when the player has a decided advantage in a game the quality of rolls for the player declines. I’ve had several games where I was bearing off with a strong lead to get a bunch of 1-2 and 1-3 rolls while the computer catches several doubles in a row to complete the miracle come from behind victory. It’s like the computer is a six year old that doesn’t like to lose so they cheat to some ridiculous extreme. For the player it’s just frustrating. For me, it makes me not want to play. It’s a shame because the interface is quite nice.
