Fun app – OutColor 2 Review

I've had Outcolor2 for about a week now and have been having a lot of fun with it. It's super easy to use and anyone who says otherwise simply has not taken the time to look at the tutorial. There are a couple glitches, though that keep me from giving it 5 stars (perhaps it's just my phone - iPhone 4 - but I don't seem to have trouble with any other app). 1) The shading feature doesn't work. If I select option 2D (foreground and background), I get nothing. No shading at all. If I select 3D, I will sometimes get an accurate shade but more often than not, for the background piece, I get either a shade on both sides of the frame or I get a wide swath from the top of the whole picture to the bottom. For the foreground piece, I get shading that touches the object rather than seeing some distance between the two when the foreground object is high in in the picture. The shadow needs to look likes it's on the ground rather than floating in mid air (like it does in the samples in the app store). I get no shading with the default option. This is frustrating because without shading the picture looks flat. 2) Regardless of where I move the slider on the frame width option, the frame stays the same. The red demo to the left of the slider moves in and out but when I close preferences and look at the frame itself it's unchanged - even if I move the slider all the way to the right. Choosing the mat option gets me nothing. And I'm not sure what the "T" stands for beneath the width slider as I can see no changes when I move it. As I said, it could just be my phone.
