I don’t need new coronavirus counts all the time – MarketWatch - News & Data Review

The number is always a new high unless people are going to become “uninfected“. If we had a ticker tape for ANY other illness or type of fatality it would spook the public and the market too. If it’s not newsworthy don’t call it news.
