Pretty cool game – Second Galaxy Review

I’ve been looking for a space game and actually this one is pretty cool. Graphics on the iPad Pro are nice. I’ve spent a whole 2 bucks to get some stuff. I’ll spend up to 5 or 6 on a game like this as i want to support the makers. I’ve read others reviews about fighting PVE and PVP. I’m not one to look at doing that. I enjoy the side stories and the different quests. I understand that i could wander off into low security zones. While I have done that and have encountered other pilots I’ve never engaged or been engaged. But I’m only at level 20 and i see there are probably many many levels in this game. To date i have just and ECD T1 Battleship with mid grade T1 weapons. The game’s graphics, sound, and feeling are top rate. Great job Devs. My only complaint is probably similar to most. There are hundreds of devices and modifications and trainings, etc. on the one hand its so complex you are always finding new combinations of devices for the ships. But on the other hand the improvement of one device rank (for example) to the next is so small that it is probably not worth dividing them into that many ranks. Let me give you a thread here that i think could make this game really exciting. Cut down on the device (weapons, shields, augmentors, implants) ranks or “device improvement level” and just concentrate on the different combinations of devices you could fit into the ship’s slots. To date i have what seems like 5 blaster ranks of Type 1 and there are at least 3 Types which are just another way of ranking. Just have 3 ranks max and concentrate on device combinations with the larger ships being less agile but having more firepower. You don’t need to have the devices have different ranks for that just have the ship power core set the device rank automatically. Anyways , great game though
