Very disappointed with the surprise 2.0 upgrade – Local Weather: RainViewer Review

I wasn’t aware there were major changes from version 1 to 2. I purchased version 1 because I could save animations to gif and various video formats. Version 2 no longer appears to have these features and the new radar map is like looking through a kaleidoscope which is basically useless to me. I reached out to support but they have not responded. I wish they would put version 1 back out on the App Store as version 2 seems like it should still be in development. Thank you for responding! Aug 10, 2020 Severe weather this evening and all weather stations nationwide are offline. Not reliable! Can’t believe I paid for this. Aug 11, 2020 Appears to have been resolved quickly. Sept 8,2020 Weather rolling in and not getting radar updates in a timely manner. I can get the same service through other apps for free. This will be my last review update. Thanks for the ride with a horrible ending. Don’t waste your money.
