Good EQ/Only EQ for Spotify. Doesn’t seem to shuffle long playlists well – SpotEQ: Equalizer Bass Booster Review

I like this EQ. It’s more flexible than Spotify’s built in EQ, you can dial in your desired curve(s) easily for different playback systems- I stream through 3 different sets of speakers in different locations. My 2 issues are- 1. my main Spotify songlist has grown to several hundred tunes. SpotEQ only seems to shuffle a portion of this list. There are a few days worth of music in this list, yet I seem to hear the same song twice within a few hours ...while others never seem to come up. Using Spotify itself, everything seems more evenly shuffled, I eventually hear the entire list. Is there a song limit to each playlist? If so, do you plan to extend it? 2. Some songs seem to play back at dramatically less volume than others. I don’t notice these volume discrepancies as much (or at all) directly on the Spotify app- tho there might be ‘some.’ At regular playback volumes these drops are fairly acceptable, at low volumes (such as late night/going to sleep volumes) a drop in volume is distracting- as the low volume song seems to disappear. Late at night I don’t want to be needing to adjust the volume for a single song. Have others mentioned this/is there a fix in the works? ——— SpotEQ is the only third part EQ I’ve been able to find for Spotify on iOS. It generally does a good job & I’m thankful for it. If my two issues were resolved, it would get 5 stars.
