It’s ok but not great – DEAD TRIGGER 2: Zombie Games Review

This game is not bad, it’s pretty entertaining and the graphics are great. However, each time you finish a mission you have to wait 20 minutes for the next one to be available. The wait time is longer than the actual mission itself which typically can go from 2 minutes to 10 minutes if you deliberately take more time to kill zombies and earn cash. When upgrading weapons, it takes a long time to earn money for the higher levels and even a longer time to get the blueprints for the cooler weapons to build. I’ve often had to do the side games that lets you earn extra cash several times to get to my goal of upgrading a weapon. When your weapon tech (or medical/mechanic) is upgrading something it stalls whatever else you need. For example, if I am upgrading my boom chicken, I have to wait until it completes production so I can get my grenades to use in the game. Kind of lame. Depending on the level, you can wait up to 2 days or more. The “hard” levels can also vary from actually hard to really easy. The arena of death is impossibly hard because the character Kyle doesn’t load the gun fast enough and in the higher zombie waves they are much faster than your character. Two swipes and you’re dead. The game ends after the South America campaign, no real conclusion of the story line. There are other worlds you can open like Russia (you’ll have to keep upgrading the tech to reach them) but there is no point if there aren’t any missions. I reached level 31 and have a bunch of weapons I still need to upgrade but there’s no point now, I would have to restart the game and do the same missions again. This game has a lot of potential but the creators seem to quit after South America.
