A once great game, that stagnated over the years. – Dungeon Boss Review

(Reposting since my review was deleted) What brought me to Dungeon Boss were the ads they put out back when the game was just starting out, and currently in it’s prime; and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The heroes were charming, progression was reasonable, and the community was thriving. However, my love for this game would proceed to slowly diminish over the years, as the devs would go on to make major changes that led to thousands of players quitting in mass such as: - The numerous Portal changes (one being that they removed the guaranteed chance for featured heroes to drop at least once per 10x Summon) - Stars becoming ascension requirements (reverted now but the players who quit because of it aren’t coming back) - Running quick-loot events constantly instead of fun Events like Guild Grand Tourneys (GGTs) or Boss Invasions every once in a while... ...and more that I have not listed. Now, Dungeon Boss is currently is in a state of stagnation due to what I would assume to be a combination of: no longer having the manpower to pump out major changes in a timely manner (mainly because Boss Fight split from Big Fish), fun Events no longer being run unless people beg for them (going back to quick-loot events being constant and GGTs being scarce), and the community being both non-existent and wary of every change they decide to implement as we just expect a lot of them to affect the game for the worse. I will personally stick around as I’ve come too far with the game to quit and rate this game at 2 stars (to be more generous than my original review), but I wouldn’t recommend this game to ANY new player if they want to keep their sanity. TL;DR: Game used to be great, now it’s not because of incompetent devs and constant QLs. Avoid at all costs.
