Scan VIN Bar Code inop for iPad 2 – VIN Inventory Review

I downloaded the major upgrade for my iPad 2 but the "Scan VIN Bar Code" function disappears as soon as the main app loads. I thought this feature was going to be added for this upgrade? Please add this function for iPad 2 and newer.
