Incredible music, amazing art design, devilishly difficult – 6th Planet Review

First off, let me say that the music is absolutely incredible - when the game advises you to plug in headphones, heed the recommendation!! The music is amazing, and sounds even more so when a good set of headphones is plugged in. The game is very similar to the old 'Lunar Lander' games of old, but don't let that deter you. The art design is top notch, and the comic book style story panels will keep you playing just to see what happens next! Upon visiting the developers Facebook page, I learned that the iPad version is in development, and it will be a definite purchase - the game looks and plays fantastic on my iPhone 4, but I'd love to see what they do with the added screen real estate and retina graphics on my new iPad. Best of all, it looks like the game is free for the next day or so, so don't hesitate! Despite getting this one for free, I will gladly pay for the iPad version when released. The game starts off with a nice tutorial, but the levels quickly grow more difficult and devilishly clever as you try to navigate the various hazards while conserving as much fuel as possible to earn that covered gold medal. All in all, this is a fantastic game and one you should not hesitate to at least try.
