Used to be a very solid useful tool, getting worse – Calibre Companion Review

I happily paid for this app a while back, but lately the subscription model is basically an annoying barrier to using the app. Now, with latest update, it’s also asking me iCloud login every time I use it. So performance is degrading, but the dev is asking me to pay a subscription fee.
