Wanna block users? Pay up! – Jack’d - Gay chat & dating Review

The way Jack’D has tried to up sell users into buying a Pro subscription is really despicable. Ads are one thing - gotta keep the lights on- but *deliberately* making the app user-hostile as a means of pressuring people into paying you is frankly disgusting. You’re basically saying “you don’t deserve a good user experience unless you pay.” The fact that the app forces you to send one photo at a time is a perfect example of this. It serves *no purpose* other than encumbering the user and frustrating them into buying a subscription. The WORST offense though is blocking. You literally cannot block other users unless you pay them. Getting harassed? Good luck “reporting” them. You’ll literally have no choice but to leave the app bc Jack’d hates its users so much they’d rather lose them than give them the option to block for free. If all this sounds predatory, it’s because it is. Your app is full of dark patterns and transparently desperate for subscription revenue, why else would you add a thousand speed bumps and impediments to using your app if not?
