There has been a great change in how men court a woman, due to the modern empowerment of women. I think men will give a great deal in return if they are sure the women they like are interested. Many of my guy friends prefer it when women take initiative when it comes to the initial stages of attraction. We are all afraid of rejection. This site allows confident women who are really making an diligent effort to go, seek, make moves, and find. This site has more successful/put-together men, than other sites IMO. More educated. Which doesn't matter in the end, but intelligent. I love how the women have to msg within 24 hours or else the match goes away because it requires quick results - good or bad. It's simple, and great because not just anyone can message you. And many men I've talked to have said they don't like sending the initial message because they assume women get so many messages, they're messages are sent in vain. They prefer to stick out, and be sought after for online dating, as to not be lost in what they think is a jam-packed inbox. I've gone on many dates from this site, by taking initiative to meet, and not have long text-dating-relationships. It's taught me a lot, and given me great confidence. And at the end of the date, I still find men assume the role as aggressor - despite being messaged first. I also think I may have found my match. Best suggestion: make a legit list of things you like to do. Because it's the liking of doing the same things that spark and maintain a relationship. Also don't be surprised if you match and men don't reply, many of us are guilty of serial right swiping sometimes and it's nothing personal.
