Avatars – BATTLESHIP Review

Hello, I purchased this app today and was taken aback to see that the only avatars available are male—unless you want to spend an additional $3.99 and purchase a female avatar. Can anyone explain to me why a female player is unable to play as a female without paying extra? This seems highly sexist to me. Although this is “just a game”, everyone should be able to enjoy the game and have an equal opportunity to play as their own gender. Would a male player feel comfortable playing as a female if the situation was reversed? Whoever created this app needs to get with the times!!
