Expected better for some reason – Sonic The Hedgehog 4™ Episode I Review

So, I never played Sonic 4 episodes 1 and 2 until a while back, when Sega put episode 2 on the Sega Forever lineup. I was surprised by how good it was, and while it wasn’t as good as Sonic Mania, it’s better than Sonic 3 in my opinion. After that, I wanted to give episode 1 a shot, despite how much people hated it. And well, now I see why they hated it. The game controls horribly, the level design isn’t good at all, the visuals have a cheap look, and the special stages use motion controls on mobile. This isn’t a good game at all, and avoid it at all costs.
