Worst Upgrade Ever – Words With Friends – Word Game Review

I have been playing this game for almost 9 years and can honestly say this is the worst upgrade ever. The biggest complaint is the reduced size of the board. In the past I was able to multi-task while playing WWF-eg, watching tv, eating a meal, etc. I would casually look down while doing other things and see a good move which I would then make. As a retired engineer, I recognize the layout of this app as poorly designed. Why waste all the real estate on the screen with large empty borders which only make the playing area much smaller and the playing experience less enjoyable? Even the buttons are poorly designed. Why change the location of the play and next buttons when Zynga has invested over 10 years in building a loyal base of users? Why have 3 different buttons that can be used to make a swap? This latest upgrade has made WWF playing experience less enjoyable and will result in many users reducing their playing time.
