Doesn’t stream video through HDMI connector – FXNOW: Movies, Shows & Live TV Review

The app works great on my iPhone 11 Pro, but when I try to mirror it to my tv using Apple’s media interface with an HDMI cable it doesn’t work properly. I can see the menus and hear audio, but when I try to live stream a channel the video gets frozen. I can hear the audio through my TVs speakers but the video is stuck on the buffering screen, while the video plays on my phone’s screen.
