Good, but needs improvement – Movie Biz Tycoon Review

Good: Replay value, interfaces and overall gameplay. Bad: Buggy, tutorial and development. I do NOT suggest you purchase until an update is released. Overall a good sim tycoon-type game. Fun graphics with multi-screen interfaces that keep players engaged. There are a lot of issues, however: 1) Training talent is very buggy (tickets only required on stage, not acting or fashion) and includes a misspelling ("traing failed," instead of 'training'). 2) When saving, training talent, movie releases and some upgrades are lost when relaunching the app. 3) Tutorial needs to explain what genres require which selections on script/scene screens. A better help screen will accomplish this. 4) It is difficult to make decent money on films after getting past the 'Novel' storyline stage. This makes gameplay a bore if the player is unable to advance to the 'Video Game' (etc.) levels. 5) More frequent employment requests are needed. At least one new employment offer a month as the company increases reputation in order to obtain better talent. Again, overall a good game and I do enjoy playing, but it needs a lot of work to make it good for a large audience.
