Ultra-Greedy Pay to Win – RWBY: Amity Arena Review

It’s a pretty cool game except that it’s insanely greedy. The cheapest basic packs are $20!!! Most of the packs are $50!!! You can’t clear the last piece of mail from your mailbox or your last quest from your quest log without watching an ad, so you either watch them for 2 SUPER COMMON cards that aren’t worth it, or you have endless notification lights blinking on your home screen. Annoying. I would actually pay $1 or $2 to make that go away. I gave it 2 stars because the gameplay seems reasonably executed, progression seems reasonably quick, and I’m a sucker for the theme. They do have some pretty amateurish bugs, like that you have to click the upgrade button to view the stats on most characters. Bottom line: GREEDY GREEDY STAY AWAY! THEY WANT YOU TO PAY $20 TO $50 ON A GAMBLE, THAT IS THE PRICE OF MANY FULL QUALITY GAMES ON A GAMBLE. GREEDY GREEDY STAY AWAY!
