My Review – Stick Escape Review

When I first started Stick Escape, I was skeptical because I usually don't like stick figure games. This one is different, though. This game's simple, yet addictive, gameplay makes it a worthwhile purchase. It now has 18 levels, with two different worlds. The levels get progressively harder, with your stick people getting faster and faster, and more obstacles and objects fill your screen. I found it fun to go through them all, one by one, but it felt strange as there was no recognition afterwards that I beat the level. I had hoped for a star to adorn the level name afterwards, but it stayed the same. I went back and tried out the bonus levels. There were three difficulty levels. It had good gameplay, and looked just as good as the normal levels, but the tilt was a little unresponsive. Or sometimes too responsive. When you died in the bonus levels, your character disappears, not giving any visual recognition of a death. I eventually grew accustomed to it, making my gameplay experience more enjoyable. I had a great time playing the game, but it took some getting used to for all the cons it had. They're all easy to ignore, and I still liked playing it. Pros: -Good gameplay -Nice switch from regular game in the Bonus Levels -Good graphics for what it is -Good controls -Nice interface Cons: -Not much visual recognition of a death in Bonus Levels -No recognition of a win in the level select menu -Tilt slightly unresponsive in bonus levels
