Not Worth Playing – Homescapes Review

Deleted my copy of the app today. I haven’t played in weeks and thought I’d give it another go. Cue stupid in-game story about some event I didn’t win first place in and a five minute animation of watching all the characters slowly walk away. IFGAF. I want to play a game, not be forced to watch this animation. Closed out the app and restarted it only to find the scene replaying. Have spent coins in-game to purchase power ups and used everything possible to beat some of the levels. And still found it was entirely dependent upon luck. Some levels will be impossible to beat without the right “lucky” drop of pieces in the right place. No amount of strategy will fix that. The frustration of being unable to complete a level has caused me to put down the game several times now. Don’t spend your money purchasing power ups; they won’t help you win. The ads for this app and the others from this company are click-bait and complete catfishing. You won’t rescue a girl or solve clever puzzles. It’s a stupid piece matching game designed to trick you into paying money. Don’t fall for it.
