3/2020 - It works, but.... – Player GR Review

I love this app - but I couldn’t figure out how to make it work until I read the comments. It doesn’t function as it is meant to so you have to use the work around. What worked for me was pressing play with the video open, turning my device screen off and then on again (go to the lock screen, not home screen), and then pressing the play/pause button on the lock screen twice. I don’t know why it works like that, but it does.
