It’s fun, but matchmaking is broken after level 5. – RWBY: Amity Arena Review

The game is a lot of fun, and when you’re matched against a fair opponent it’s challenging. But shortly after level 5 I just stopped being matched against fair opponents. Sometimes I still do, but more often than not, I’m level 5 facing level 7-9 players. These players have cards far more powerful than anything I can use, so unless I can slip in some cheap trick, it’s an unwinnable match. But to be fair, the few matches that are against someone my own level are challenging and fun. Just wish that was the majority of my matches and not the rare exception.
