Addicting – Criminal Case Review

This is an oddly addicting game. The hidden object search scenes, which are really the heart of the game, are very well done and realistic. The game encourages memorization and speedrunning, as you get a higher score and progress further the faster you can find items. I usually feel very proficient by the time I get five stars in a scene, and I can often get a perfect score of 600,000. This is satisfying. It's also satisfying to see the cases unfold as you play and the characters you meet are quirky and memorable. Gold coins also aren't really an issue for me, as I can easily sell my extra stars at the end of a case for 30,000+ coins. The game really has a lot of meat to it too. I have been going for gold medals, which requires getting all the stars. I just got a trophy medal for spending 10 hours in scenes even though I have only been playing for a few days and at my play speed, generally can only spend a half hour before running out of energy. I am only on the second case. There are look to be about 100 cases on this map and there are about 5 maps I've heard. I've heard pf people playing for years and not seeing it all. Of course the problem everyone has is with the energy. I would highly recommend getting used to doing something else for about 4 hours when you run out, as that's about how long it takes to fill up. TO DEVS: I would have contacted you, but your contact page on your site isn't working on my iPhone. I was excited about the new subscription service as I subscribe to Starz Movies, Youtube Music, and Apple News+, so I understand the value of subscribing to all you want of one kind of content. But the results are disappointing. It is an ad -free experience which is appreciated, but many app games let you pay a one time fee for ad-free and don't require a subscription. And you increase the energy from 110 to 170 with the subscription. Also, it messes up the energy bar so it doses not smoothly show running out, and looks almost full even when having 10 or less energy. The biggest issue is subscribing doesn't make regaining energy speed up. At 2 minutes for 1 energy regain, that's about 4 hours for 110 or 6 hours for 170. My suggestion is if people are willing to pay a subscription, turn off energy costs entirely or just allow people to regain it faster.
