Charged for minutes, didn’t get any – Pinger: Call + Phone SMS App Review

I’m traveling abroad and downloaded the app because I had a medical emergency and needed to call a US number for my travel insurance company. Despite the app saying free, nothing is free. So I paid $1.99 for 100 minutes. Apple said the purchase was successful, but then Pinger said it wasn’t. I was given no minutes. Yet I checked my bank account, and I was charged for the purchase. Needing to make some important calls, Pinger completely let me down.
