Nickle & Dime and won’t show the time – Vacation Countdown App Review

I originally got the app to inspire my daughters for our next family vacation. But I travel a lot and liked the idea of being able to countdown all my trips (well, at least up to 3)so I bought the premium app so I had access to all the backgrounds and was free from adds. I paid $16.99 and got no additional backgrounds and found myself having to purchase the backgrounds appropriate to my trip. I thought this must be a mistake and all would be sorted once the purchase went through and the app fully functioning. Nope. I was still prompted to purchase the background I wanted to use. Then my countdown wouldn’t work. I could have the countdown in weeks and minutes but then the days and hours wouldn’t work. If I chose to countdown the days, then the weeks and hours wouldn’t work. If I chose hours and minutes, then the weeks and days wouldn’t work. What’s the point of a countdown if it doesn’t count down what is relevant? I was prompted to purchase the premium app every time I got on the the app but I have already done that. Charged and posted to my CC. I deleted the app and am asking for a full refund.
